Job Responsibilities:
We are seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Finance Application Developer to join our team. As a member of our private capital markets group, you will work with experienced professionals to design and build financial applications, from conception to deployment. You will develop scalable, high-performance valuation models and frameworks for different asset classes, working closely with financial domain experts. Your responsibilities will also include defining and implementing automated tests of financial functionality, integrating new modeling techniques and approaches into existing analytics libraries, and more. To be successful in this role, you will need a minimum of 3 years of professional design and programming experience in one or more of the following languages: #, Python or C/C. You will also need a BS/MS in quantitative finance, math, quantitative sciences, computer science or engineering. Additionally, you should have familiarity with the modeling of one or more financial asset classes, including private equity and fixed income. Experience with asset valuation, risk analysis, or similar algorithm implementation is also desirable. You should be able to effectively design, debug, test, and optimize financial algorithms, and have experience with object-oriented development, as well as development using #, Python or C/C. Experience with SQL and relational DB design is beneficial, and the ability to write understandable, concise documentation is essential. Prior work experience demonstrating your ability to program financial analytics and abstract and document code is also required. Experience working with large code bases in an enterprise environment and using git for version control is appreciated.
