Accountant Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Accountant to join our team at Terre Haute Regional Hospital. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, including GAAP and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and financial forecasts.
  • Perform financial analysis and provide recommendations to management.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
