Job Summary

The Lead Product Engineer supports the F404 Assembly manufacturing processes, ensuring product quality, cost, and delivery. This role works with cross-functional teams to ensure engines are assembled to meet customer requirements, impacting the quality of own work and the work of others on the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supports the F404 Assembly manufacturing processes, production readiness, and ramp preparedness.
  • Ensures expectations on safety, quality, cost, and delivery are met.
  • Broadens knowledge of own technical discipline to execute policy/strategy.
  • Addresses product non-conformances, MRB & PR, repairs, and design change requests.
  • Works with cross-functional teams to implement manufacturing improvements and resolve technical issues.
  • Collaborates with quality and design resources to support APQP (Advance Product Quality Planning).
  • Presents to senior leaders in specific technical space and on cross-functional teams on how technologies interconnect and contribute to overall strategy.
  • Explains technical information to others.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years of Manufacturing or Manufacturing Engineering experience).
  • Additional 3 years of Manufacturing or Manufacturing Engineering experience or GE Leadership Program Graduate in lieu of experience.
