Position Overview

ProCare Therapy is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our dedicated team within a local educational institution. This full-time role offers the opportunity to work in a supportive environment, collaborating with a group of passionate special education professionals to enhance the communication skills of students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive assessments to accurately identify speech, language, and communication disorders in students using standardized testing and diagnostic methods.
  • Individualized Education Plans (IEPs): Develop, customize, and implement tailored IEPs that address each student's specific needs, establishing clear and measurable objectives for their progress.
  • Therapeutic Sessions: Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at improving speech articulation, language comprehension, expressive language, fluency, and social communication skills, employing evidence-based practices.
Compensation:

Hourly Rate: $43-50/hr

Qualifications:
  • Education: Master's Degree in Speech Pathology or Communication Disorders.
  • Licensure: Must possess an active Illinois SLP license. CCC holders are encouraged to apply; Clinical Fellows will also be considered.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a school setting is preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
