Job Description

As a Medical Assistant at CommonSpirit Health, you will play a crucial role in delivering patient care that promotes safety and wellbeing. You will work under the direction of the healthcare provider to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide general patient care by following established standards and procedures.
  • Prepare patients for the healthcare provider and obtain vital signs.
  • Document patient plans of care, tests, and examination results in the medical record.

You will need to have a high school diploma or equivalent, BLS certification, and the ability to perform EKGs, draw blood, and administer injections. Strong communication skills, sound judgment, and a positive attitude towards patients are essential for this role.

Our estimated salary for this position is $50,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on location and experience.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • BLS or ACLS certification required.
  • Ability to perform EKGs, draw blood, and administer injections.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Sound judgment and composure.
  • Positive attitude towards patients.
