North View Middle School Job Summary:

The mission is to empower and equip every student with the confidence, courage, and skills necessary to realize their aspirations; contribute positively to the community; and engage in lifelong learning.

Deliver services and support in the designated area, which includes crafting and executing individualized student goals and objectives, assessing student performance in accordance with the objectives outlined in the Individual Educational Plan (IEP) utilized by the district, fostering student success, maintaining essential student records, and generating related reports to the site/department licensed administrators as directed or authorized by the superintendent. Establish and maintain communication with guardians/caregivers of students and collaborate with them in the development of each student, execute classroom management responsibilities, uphold district regulations governing conduct, comprehend and apply due process guidelines in accordance with state and federal laws, regulations, and district policies; utilize resources and technologies effectively and equitably; implement the objectives of the District and the school and/or program for which employed; provide in-person, synchronous, and asynchronous learning and services when applicable; and work collaboratively with colleagues.

Willingness to engage in district, building, and department leadership initiatives is expected.

Flexibility in work hours to accommodate the needs of guardians/caregivers, department, building, and/or district at the discretion of the supervisor is essential.

Minimum qualifications include:

Master’s Degree and MDE Speech Language Pathologist license. *Additional information can be found at MN Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board (PELSB).


Preferred qualifications include:
