Position OverviewThe role involves delivering comprehensive chemical dependency services and psychotherapy to a diverse clientele, including adults, adolescents, and their families, under indirect supervision.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and respond to patient inquiries regarding treatment services and provide guidance during crisis situations.
- Conduct in-depth assessments for various mental health diagnoses and evaluate potential risks.
- Perform intake and psychosocial evaluations to inform treatment planning.
- Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and present tailored treatment plans.
- Engage in clinical case discussions to enhance patient care.
- Deliver educational sessions focused on chemical dependency.
- Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions for clients.
- Provide therapy for adolescents, families, and significant others as needed.
- Coordinate case management services, including resource referrals.
- Offer mentorship and clinical guidance to junior counselors and interns.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned.
- At least two (2) years of relevant supervised experience in addiction therapy within the last five (5) years.
- A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or a related behavioral health field is required.
- Must hold a valid license as a Professional Clinical Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Clinical Social Worker in California.
This position offers a $6,000 sign-on bonus and currently features a hybrid work schedule, with the possibility of transitioning to full in-office work.
