Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Property and Casualty Broker to join our team at EPIC Brokers. As a key member of our Mergers and Acquisitions team, you will be responsible for providing expert risk management services to our clients in the private equity space.

Key Responsibilities
  • Market renewals and new business opportunities for our clients
  • Evaluate existing coverages and make recommendations for improvement
  • Support due diligence activities for existing and prospective clients
  • Round out accounts as opportunities arise
  • Maintain strong relationships with underwriters and insurance carriers
  • Negotiate with underwriters to secure the best possible coverage and rates
  • Manage day-to-day account transactions, including policy administration and renewal submissions
  • Work with team members to execute all renewals in a timely manner
  • Generate accurate renewal submissions and proposals
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to our clients
Requirements
  • College degree in insurance or related field preferred
  • New Jersey or New York P&C license
  • 7-10 years of brokerage experience as a P&C Broker
  • Knowledge of general liability, workers' compensation, property, automobile liability, umbrella liability, and related lines of coverage
  • Experience with Private Equity is a must
  • Knowledge of insurance carriers' risk appetite and industry preferences
  • Ability to develop innovative and customized business solutions
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong negotiation and organizational skills
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office suite, Excel, and PowerPoint

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $155,000 to $200,000 in base pay, exclusive of any bonuses or benefits. Our benefits package includes 401K matching, generous time off policy, flexible work options, medical, dental, vision, pet insurance, cancer insurance, wellness programs, and employee award programs.
