Job Summary
We are seeking an EVS Associate I to join our team. As an EVS Associate I, you will play a critical role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients, visitors, and staff. Your responsibilities will include:
- Cleaning and disinfecting floors using hospital-specific equipment, including microfiber cloths and wet mops.
- Cleaning and sanitizing horizontal surfaces, such as over-bed tables, counters, and furniture.
- Cleaning and sanitizing restroom surfaces, including toilets, urinals, sinks, showers, walls, floors, and mirrors.
- Cleaning and sanitizing vertical surfaces, such as walls, ceilings, and windows.
- Ensuring the cleanliness of high-dust surfaces, such as picture frames, vents, and doorframes.
- Inspecting rooms for proper cleaning and reporting any safety or maintenance issues.
- Removing trash and linen, cleaning receptacles, and ensuring they are prepared for next use.
- Restocking paper, hand sanitizer, and hand soap supplies.
- Sanitizing high-touch areas, such as light switches, bed rails, and doorknobs.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A High School Diploma or GED.
- 1 year of experience in healthcare, preferably in a hospital setting.
Travel Requirements
This role requires minimal travel, if any.
