Job Summary

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at The Orthopedic & Spine Hospital (TOSH). As a RN, you will provide direct patient care, coordinate care for patients, and work collaboratively with clinic providers, fellows, and staff.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medication, providing patient education, and developing individual health plans.
  • Coordinate care for patients, including triaging patients and facilitating appointments.
  • Work collaboratively with clinic providers, fellows, and staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Provide patient education on complex conditions and develop individual health plans.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Associate's degree in Nursing, Diploma RN, or Master's degree in Nursing.
  • Valid Registered Nursing License.
  • Minimum of 1 year of Registered Nursing experience.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong work ethics and accountability.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Current BLS.
  • ACLS certification.
  • Scrubbing experience.
  • Orthopedic experience a plus.
  • EPIC experience.
