Job Summary

We're looking for a friendly and efficient Restaurant Dishwasher to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you'll provide exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their dining experience is nothing short of exceptional.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean and organized dishroom, ensuring all equipment and utensils are in excellent condition.
  • Pre-rinse and load dishes, silverware, and glassware into the dishwasher.
  • Unload and stock kitchen personnel and servers with clean dishes, silverware, and glassware.
  • Wash pots and pans in the 3-compartment sink and air dry dishes and utensils.
  • Keep all silverware out of the trash and maintain the cleanliness of your station and work areas.
  • Perform side work during shift downtime, including rolling silverware, restocking condiment holders, and cleaning work areas.
  • Assist kitchen staff with food preparation using safe food handling practices.
  • Assist with other activities as instructed by the manager on duty.
Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours.
  • Must be able to see at a distance (20 feet), at close range (12 inches), and distinguish between shapes and utilize peripheral vision to avoid hazards.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly.
  • Exposure to heat, steam, smoke, cold, and dish and cleaning chemicals.
  • Must have high-level mobility/flexibility in space provided.
  • Must be able to work irregular hours under heavy pressure/stress during busy times.
Working Conditions

Our Restaurant Dishwasher will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, exposed to heat, steam, smoke, cold, and dish and cleaning chemicals. Must be able to stand and walk for up to 8 hours and have high-level mobility/flexibility in space provided.
