About the Job:

This is an excellent opportunity to join Boston Scientific's Interventional Cardiology Coronary Therapies team as an Electromechanical Systems Engineer.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing engineering expertise to support the development of complex electro-mechanical medical device systems.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize design improvements, develop and maintain documentation, and participate in design reviews and quality assurance activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electro-mechanical systems, including components and subassemblies.
  • Conduct design analysis, testing, and validation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals, instruction sheets, and repair guides.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams to resolve design-related issues.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering) or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in product development, preferably in medical devices.
  • Strong understanding of electro-mechanical systems, including design principles, materials science, and manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret technical data and make informed decisions.
