Job Title: Class A Delivery Driver

Admiral Beverage is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Class A Delivery Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering beverage products to customers across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive a Class A truck over established routes to deliver products to customers
  • Work independently to deliver all products for established routes
  • Effectively communicate with customers and supervisors to resolve any issues or concerns
  • Record sales, buy back, delivery, and variance information on daily sales or delivery records
  • Operate a computerized inventory and invoicing system to accurately record stops, deliveries, and any errors on the route
  • Collect or pick up empty containers or rejected or unsold merchandise
  • Conduct and/or supervise truck loading and unloading and secure loads
  • Issue or obtain customer signature on receipt for pickup or delivery
  • Perform daily inspection and routine fluid, air, and oil maintenance on truck and maintain a clean vehicle
  • Construct or assemble display aids from company-provided Point of Sale (POS) materials

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Commercial Driver's License, Class A
  • DOT medical card
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to perform basic math and business math functions
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
