Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Pipeline Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and inspection of our pipeline infrastructure. This position requires a strong understanding of pipeline operations, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance on pipelines, valves, and other equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair pipeline leaks and damage.
  • Operate and maintain pipeline control systems.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to complete projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in pipeline operations or a related field.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree in a related field.
  • Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, P&IDs, and other diagrams.
  • Detailed knowledge of Company policies, procedures and practices as well as regulatory and tariff requirements.
  • Detailed knowledge and experience in safe handling practices of flammable gases, liquids, and high/low-pressure systems.
  • Previous welding experience.
  • Current Commercial Driver's License.

Physical Demands

This position requires the ability to work in a variety of outdoor environments, including extreme weather conditions. The employee must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, climb ladders and stairs, and work at heights.

Work Environment

The work environment involves exposure to noise, vibration, fumes, dust, and other hazardous materials. Occasional overtime may be required. Living environs will be relevant to the work location to address callouts and emergency response. May be required to carry a cell phone, and be available to respond during working and non-working hours.

Background Check

The successful candidate will be required to clear a drug screen and a complete background check, including a credit report for certain positions, after an offer has been extended and prior to being employed.
