The Banquet Captain is responsible for overseeing and assisting with the setup, service, and cleanup of all assigned banquet functions at Sheraton Milwaukee Brookfield.

• Approach all interactions with guests and colleagues in a friendly and service-oriented manner.
• Maintain regular attendance in compliance with company standards, as required by scheduling.
• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing the proper uniform and name tag while working.
• Comply with company standards and regulations to ensure safe and efficient hotel operations.
• Comply with certification requirements, as applicable to the position, including Alcohol Awareness, Food Handlers, and Safety certifications.
• Inspect the setup of meeting and banquet functions, checking them against the Banquet Event Order.
• Perform other duties as required.

• At least 1 year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field is required. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• College coursework in a related field is helpful.
• Previous supervisory responsibility is preferred.
• Alcohol Awareness Certification is required (must comply with state regulations).
