Key Responsibilities- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, ensuring a clean and comfortable environment.
- Accurately obtain and record medical histories, verify allergies, medications, and vital signs.
- Order, collect, and prepare laboratory specimens as needed.
- Explain treatment procedures to patients and ensure proper consents are signed.
- Assist physicians during examinations and procedures, providing educational materials and aftercare instructions.
- Perform administrative duties, including documenting patient communications and treatments, and managing KPI reports.
- Graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting, Surgical Tech, or Practical Nursing Program.
- Current Certification or Licensure with no restrictions.
- Current BLS Certification.
- Knowledge of infection control, sterile technique, and basic health and safety precautions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The Clinical Assistant will work in a fast-paced clinical environment, requiring the ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and move patients and equipment as needed.
