We are seeking an experienced and dedicated HVAC Pipefitter Journeyman to join our dynamic and expanding team at B & I Contractors, Inc.

• Install, assemble, and layout HVAC-R piping systems, piping supports, and related hydronic HVAC-R systems, including chilled water, hot water, cooling, heating, sprinkling, lubricating, and other industrial production and processing systems.
• Work with HVAC-R equipment and components, including chillers, cooling towers, boilers, pumps, condensing units, heat exchangers, air handlers, fan coils, and VAVs.
• Complete daily tasks under general supervision and according to the contract schedule, using a variety of pipe, tubes, and fittings made of metal and nonmetal materials, and handheld tools and power tools.

• Three (3+) plus years of mechanical piping experience.
• Solid working knowledge of blueprints, pipe type/material, pipe size, and related piping equipment and materials.
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills and organizational skills.
• Daily positive and team-oriented attitude.
• Ability to hear and speak clearly with professional standard grammar.
• Ability to walk, stand, sit, stoop, kneel, climb stairs/ladders, reach overhead, and maneuver up to fifty (50) pounds.
• Controlled dexterity of fingers and hands (to include the use of mechanical substitutions).
