Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Traveling Registered Nurse to join our team at IU Health Bedford Hospital. As a Travel Nurse RN, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a talented team of healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities
  • Certification Requirements: Our ideal candidate will possess current BCLS and NIH certifications, with ACLS certification preferred.
  • Shift Requirements: This position requires a 3x12 hour shift schedule.
  • Skillset Requirements: We are seeking a nurse with expertise in Med/Surg, Telemetry-remote monitoring, Blood product administration, Peripheral line care/management, Phlebotomy, PICC line management, Starting IVs, Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleuravac, High Flow Nasal Cannula(HFNC), Oral Suctioning, and Oxygen face masks.
  • Minimum Experience Required: A minimum of 2 years of experience is required for this position.
  • Staffing Ratios: Our ideal candidate will be able to maintain a 1:5/6 staffing ratio.
  • Patient Diagnoses: You will be working with patients who have a variety of diagnoses, including COPD exacerbation, Pneumonia, CVA, Hypoxia, Electrolyte imbalances, Weakness, Hypertension, and Small bowel obstruction.
Requirements
  • Periop/OR RN's, Allied and Ambulatory RN travelers are exempt from this rule. These IN travelers are allowed to work past the deadline.
  • IN LICENSE AND CERTS MUST BE IN HAND TO SUBMIT.
  • MUST BE WILLING TO TAKE CHARGE WHEN ASKED.
  • Certification Requirements: Our ideal candidate will possess current BCLS and NIH certifications, with ACLS certification preferred.
