Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care services, including grooming, bathing, catheter care, perineal care, and dressing, while observing residents according to patient care policies. Identify and report any conditions that require management attention.
  • Change bed linens and ensure that grooming supplies are adequately stocked in resident rooms.
  • Assist residents with ambulation and transfers, using appropriate assistive devices and techniques.
  • Document resident vital signs, weights, measurements, intake and output, food consumption, and other assigned information.
  • Regularly reposition and turn patients to ensure comfort and prevent complications.
  • Engage residents in range of motion exercises and reality orientation as directed.
Qualifications:
  • State-issued Nursing Assistant Certification.
  • Proficient in recording information and executing technical procedures.
  • Strong communication skills, coupled with self-discipline and patience.
  • Genuine compassion for and interest in the care of elderly and disabled individuals.
  • Ability to adhere to the Patient Bill of Rights and Employee Responsibilities.
  • Commitment to following Company and departmental safety policies and procedures.
