Lunchroom Monitor

We are seeking a Lunchroom Monitor to join our team at Henderson County Board of Education. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our lunchroom facilities, maintaining a safe and respectful environment for students, and providing excellent customer service to our patrons.

• Monitor students and ensure proper conduct in the lunchroom
• Organize students into orderly lines for food purchase and disposal
• Report incidents and resolve minor problems as needed
• Maintain cleanliness of food service facilities and arrange furniture as required
• Receive and respond to suggestions for improvement of food service student activities

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to supervise students and maintain a safe environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work cooperatively with others

This is a part-time position, contracted for 175 days per year, with a 2-hour daily schedule. The successful candidate will be required to undergo a physical, TB risk assessment, drug screen, and background check.
