Job Title: Lead Quality Engineer

Join Middle River Aerostructure Systems, a world-leading manufacturer of complex aerostructures, as a Lead Quality Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring all engineering and regulatory requirements are met using six sigma methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all Quality functions of assigned programs or areas with some guidance
  • Act as the Point of Contact for their program to inspectors
  • Eliminate process variation and product defects through creative solutions
  • Work Root Cause, Corrective Action with some guidance using established RCCA tools
  • Process all Nonconformance Items and Workflows in a timely manner
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college with minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or quality leadership role
  • Broad knowledge of theory and principles of statistics and statistical process control
  • Excellent computer skills (Power-Point, Excel and statistical software tools)
Desired Characteristics:
  • Aerospace manufacturing experience
  • Quality experience, including knowledge of ISO9000 or AS9100
  • Positive attitude and leadership characteristics
