Job Title: Worship Leader

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Worship Leader to join our team at Cornerstone Church of West Columbia. As a Worship Leader, you will be responsible for planning and leading the music for our Sunday services, working closely with our pastor to create a blended worship experience that is both traditional and contemporary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and lead the music for Sunday services, including selecting songs, coordinating with musicians, and preparing worship materials.
  • Collaborate with our pastor to create a cohesive worship experience that aligns with the sermon and scripture.
  • Develop and implement a music ministry that is inclusive and engaging for all ages and worship styles.
  • Rehearse with musicians as needed and prepare worship materials, including lyric sheets, chord charts, and sheet music.
  • Work with the AV team to ensure seamless integration of music and technology in our services.

Requirements:

  • Strong spiritual background and passion for Jesus and music.
  • Experience in leading worship services, preferably in a blended or contemporary setting.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others, including musicians, clergy, and lay leaders.
  • Strong communication and public speaking skills.
  • Flexibility and ability to improvise in a fast-paced worship environment.
