Field Trainer

The Field Trainer will play a crucial role in ensuring that all team members are trained and efficient in their job tasks, resulting in optimized customer satisfaction and profitability. This position involves identifying training needs, developing new training materials, assessing skills, and delivering training to meet customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver various forms of training relating to telecommunications, including ISP, OSP, and Wireless
- On-the-Job training, hands-on training, and evaluation of new field technicians
- Classroom, virtual, and work-site location training
- Create and assist in the development of training documents and implementation of training
- Evaluate training materials and implement training activities that address identified training needs
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify employee training needs
- Identify and complete skill assessment evaluations
- Use data to schedule and perform inspections to monitor workmanship and quality trends
- Facilitate and communicate resolution of findings and closure in internal and external systems
- Lead root cause analysis efforts and mentor individuals in assigned region on corrective and preventative actions

- High school diploma or equivalent, technical degree preferred
- 3+ years with field experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs/software
- Demonstrate proficient use of iOS and/or Android applications
The Field Trainer will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring the ability to work at heights, work at depths, bend or twist the body into unusual positions, coordinate body movements, maintain balance, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, use hands and fingers to handle, feel, and/or manipulate small wires and objects, regularly walk and perform physical tasks, regularly lift and/or move up to 49 pounds, and work shifts longer than eight hours in duration.
The Field Trainer will also be required to travel extensively, have reliable transportation, and the ability to transport minor job-related tools and minor equipment to work locations.
