Qualifications: Candidates should hold a PhD in public administration, nonprofit/philanthropy, or political science, or a JD with a focus on public/administrative law. Teaching Responsibilities: The successful candidate will have a teaching load of four courses per academic year, primarily within the Master of Public Administration (MPA) program. Core courses may include:

  • Administrative Theory
  • Public Law and Administration
  • Ethics

There may also be opportunities to contribute to the Master of Public Policy (MPP) program.

Program Development: The successful candidate will play a key role in the establishment of a new Division of Public Affairs, which will integrate multiple professional public service graduate programs. Experience in program administration or organizational change is highly desirable.
