Overhead Linehand

Job Summary:

The OHE Laborer/Groundman is a crucial member of the Construction team, responsible for preparing and cleaning construction sites by removing debris and potential hazards. This role involves loading and unloading building materials, operating equipment and machines, and assisting craft workers with their duties.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and prepare the construction site for work, removing debris and potential hazards.
• Assist tradesmen in completing their skilled tasks more effectively.
• Identify utilities and assist the dig crew in preventing utility hits.
• Clean and maintain equipment.
• Restock trucks with supplies to ensure crews have the necessary tools and materials to complete the job.
• Perform seeding and strawing tasks.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 or more years of experience.
• CDL Class A driver's license.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

This role operates in a field environment, requiring extended periods of physical activity, including bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting, and working in inclement weather conditions.
