Job Title: Facilities Repairer

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Repairer to join our team at J & J Worldwide Services.

In this role, you will perform plumbing, general maintenance and repair of equipment and buildings. The ideal candidate will have practical skill and knowledge in trades such as painting, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and electrical work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Repair and replace electrical components including receptacles, wires, switches, fixtures, and motors.
  • Complete miscellaneous plumbing repairs.
  • Patch minor holes and cracks in walls and ceilings using plaster or compound.
  • Repair or replace sinks, water coolers, and toilets.
  • Paint structures and equipment.
  • Repair or replace concrete floors, steps, and sidewalks.
  • Replace damaged paneling and floor tiles.
  • Hang doors and install door locks and replace broken window panes.
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment and machinery.
  • Provide updates to customers regarding work request status.

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year.

Requirements:
  • Certification by the State for repairing and testing backflow prevention devices.
  • GED or High School Graduate.
  • Experience working in an outdoor or indoor building environment.
  • Knowledge of plumbing systems and ability to read blueprints and drawings.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers.
