Cardiac Echocardiographer

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac ECHO Sonographer to join our team at San Juan Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our Cardiopulmonary Department, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, productive, and patient-centered experience during cardiopulmonary procedures.

• Obtain complete and reproducible diagnostically accurate cardiac ultrasound exams
• Conduct stress testing, including EKG interpretation and troubleshooting
• Perform Holter monitoring and EKG tests
• Provide pre and post-procedural teaching and instructions
• Document all required charting and billing information in a timely manner
• Assist with quality improvement initiatives and patient education

• Registered ARDMS or CCI Echocardiography registry
• BLS Certification
• ACLS Certification (required within 6 months of transfer/hire)

This role requires extensive walking, standing, lifting, positioning, pushing, and/or transferring of patients. Correctible visual and auditory acuity is necessary to ensure patient safety.
