BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team in Silver Spring, Maryland. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to assist our licensed Physical Therapists in providing physical therapy services to adult and geriatric patients. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist licensed Physical Therapists in providing physical therapy services to clients in their homes
  • Conduct client assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement interventions as delegated by the Physical Therapist
  • Provide education and support to clients and their families to promote optimal physical well-being
  • Collaborate with the Physical Therapist to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment plans
Requirements:
  • Current licensure or certification in the state of MD
  • Graduation from a two-year college level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association
  • At least one year's work experience under the supervision of a qualified Physical Therapist
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
