Job Description:

This McDonald's restaurant is owned and operated by the Freihage Organization, a family-owned business with over 60 years of experience in the fast-food industry.

As a Maintenance person in our restaurant, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the store. Your daily tasks will include filtering the oil vats, organizing the stock room, cleaning the stainless, walls, ceilings, bathrooms, and walk-in cooler.

Normal maintenance shifts are from 5AM-1PM, but can vary depending on your needs. No prior training is necessary, as long as you are willing to learn and have a strong work ethic.

We pride ourselves on promoting from within and developing our employees. Our Maintenance positions are split into three tiers:

Secondary Maintenance:

Starting at $13.50 per hour, this part-time maintenance position requires you to perform maintenance tasks at least one day per week. The other days, you can work in a crew position.

Primary Maintenance:

Starting at $14.50 per hour, this full-time maintenance position requires you to be fully trained and certified by the General Manager. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the entire store with minimal supervision.

Maintenance Manager:

Starting at $17.50 per hour, this leadership role requires you to be a full-time maintenance employee who takes care of the cleanliness of the whole store with little or no follow-up. You will also be responsible for supervising other maintenance staff and ensuring the store meets our high standards.

To qualify for the Maintenance Manager position, you must be a full-time employee, take care of the cleanliness of the whole store with little or no follow-up, and follow up on other maintenance staff.

You will report to the General Manager and Supervisors, and must be willing to transfer to any of our locations, including Oak Forest, Tinley Park, Frankfort, Monee, New Lenox, and Wilmington.
