As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our properties, ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and Coordinate Maintenance: Plan, coordinate, and perform all maintenance, service requests, and repairs in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Document Daily Maintenance Activity: Record daily maintenance activity, including problems encountered, work completed, and vacancy status updates.
  • Prepare Apartments for Move-In: Perform, monitor, inspect, and conduct evaluations necessary to prepare apartments for move-in of future tenants.
  • Inspect and Maintain Property: Inspect the property daily and maintain proper cleanliness and curb appeal.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: Work professionally and cooperatively with the team to achieve common goals.

Essential Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required.
  • Prior Experience in Carpentry, Plumbing, Electrical, Appliance, HVAC, and Building Systems: Prior experience in these areas is highly desirable.
  • Prior Experience in Property Management: Experience working in property management is a plus.
  • Reliable Personal Vehicle and Valid NYS Driver's License: Must possess a reliable personal vehicle and a valid NYS driver's license.
  • Personal Cell Phone: Required possession and use of a personal cell phone (monthly reimbursement).
