Job Summary

We're seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Kitchen Team Member to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, preparing high-quality food products, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional guest service, engaging with customers to learn their needs and preferences
  • Maintain knowledge of products and weekly ad items throughout the store
  • Ensure excellent product quality by inspecting store products for proper rotation, cleaning, and sanitation procedures
  • Manage kitchen stations, including chopping and grain bowls, customized hot pizzas, biscuits/sandwiches, smoothies, coffee, beer/wine, and prepared salads
  • Set up and break down front-line areas, receive orders, and stock products according to standards
  • Create a hospitable shopping experience by merchandising and stocking products throughout the day
  • Follow all The Fresh Market standards, policies, and protocols
  • Present yourself in a professional manner, adhering to uniform standards
Requirements
  • A passion for providing extraordinary service
  • Must be at least 18 years of age (19 years of age in certain states)
  • Excellent and collaborative communication skills
  • Preferred qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent, experience working in retail, hospitality, or restaurant industries
Work Environment

This role requires the ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, days, evenings, and holidays. You'll be required to spend long periods on your feet, stand, or walk without a break, and wear approved personal protective equipment.
