Job Description

The Residential Maintenance Worker will be responsible for performing various tasks related to the maintenance and upkeep of our properties. This includes conducting routine inspections, performing minor maintenance tasks, and participating in on-call rotations to respond to after-hours service calls.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Inspect facilities regularly to identify areas requiring maintenance or repair.
  2. Perform tasks such as painting, replacing light bulbs, caulking, and minor drywall repair under supervision.
  3. Monitor grounds and common areas daily, trimming shrubs, and mowing lawns.
  4. Prepare units for occupancy by cleaning appliances, fixtures, floors, and removing trash.
  5. Participate in on-call rotations to respond to after-hours service calls.
  6. Ensure compliance with fire and building codes, reporting any potential safety or building code violations to the supervisor.
  7. Clear snow from surfaces as directed by the supervisor, using shovels, blowers, and salt.
  8. Maintain confidentiality of resident and company information.
  9. Perform other minor duties as assigned.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn.
  • A valid driver's license and clean driving record are required.
  • Possession of basic hand tools, such as a hammer, pliers, screwdrivers, etc., is desirable.
  • Ability to meet established deadlines.
  • A personable and professional attitude.
