Physician Assistant Clinical Instructor

Carlow University seeks highly qualified candidates for part-time adjunct instructor positions in the Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (PA) Program. These positions are ideal for experienced physician assistants who wish to share their expertise with students while maintaining their clinical practice.
Job Summary: Adjunct faculty members will be responsible for teaching clinical skills and classroom education, including procedural skills. The hours and schedules vary by position, appointment, and availability. Additionally, they will be responsible for planning lecture content, grading laboratory skills and exams, setting up labs, and cleaning up after. The PA department also offers remote opportunities for clinical instructors to support students and their preceptors in hospital or clinic-based settings, review case studies, and support capstone experiences.
Required Qualifications: A minimum of a master's degree in physician assistant studies (MPAS) and valid Pennsylvania Physician Assistant License and current NCCPA certification. At least two years of experience as a Physician Assistant provider are required. Teaching experience in a PA program and five years or more clinical experience as a Physician Assistant are preferred.
