Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Bakery Specialist to join our team at Golden Corral. As a key member of our food production team, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of baked goods, including yeast rolls, cakes, pies, and specialty desserts.
Key Responsibilities:- Food Production: Prepare hand-made yeast rolls, cakes, pies, and other baked items to meet production needs.
- Breakfast Bakery Items: Prepare breakfast bakery items on weekends to meet production needs.
- Quality Control: Complete use and following of the buffet production system to ensure quality and shelf life compliance.
- Product Quality: Ensure that every product in the bakery is always fresh, tasty, visually appealing, and hot, when appropriate.
- Recipe Adherence: Maintain quality by preparing all products following Golden Corral recipes and standards.
- Portion Control: Maintain proper portioning and recipe yields.
- Guidelines: Follow the Bakery and Dessert Caf Production Guide.
- Customer Interaction: Be friendly and courteous to guests and assist them with baked goods.
- Delivery: Know and follow position responsibilities as they relate to just-in-time delivery.
- Sanitation: Perform duty roster and meet cleanliness, service, and quality standards.
- Health Department Compliance: Follow local health department laws.
Compensation: $16.00 per hour
