At Family Fare, we're committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences through our People First culture and Operational Excellence. As a Meat Clerk, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our meat products meet the highest standards of quality and freshness.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and package meat products according to production plans
- Merchandise meat products to meet flight plans and merchandising expectations
- Stock backroom with meat products, rotating and dating cases and buckets
- Notify the Meat Manager of product and supply needs
- Collaborate with other departments and stores to drive growth in our retail stores
- Communicate tasks, recipes, weights, and measures to other associates
- Follow all PPE and safety guidelines, as well as food safety and cleaning expectations
- Provide exceptional guest experiences
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- One year of retail or related experience preferred
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents
- Basic mathematical skills
- Detail-oriented

The associate is required to stand and walk for extended periods of time and may bend, stoop, twist, and turn frequently. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is subject to a typical retail store environment (varied temperatures) and is exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
