Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Echo Technologist PRN to join our team at TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures ordered by physicians to ensure high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Perform imaging procedures using echocardiography equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining the process and positioning them for optimal image quality.
- Operate imaging equipment, including adjusting settings and calibrating devices as needed.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Maintain accurate records of patient procedures, including images and test results.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and department efficiency.
Requirements
- Graduate of a Diagnostic Echo Medical Sonography Program.
- American Heart BLS certification obtained and maintained according to hospital policy.
