About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Store Sales Specialist. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, promoting REI products and services, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Assist customers with questions and concerns, provide product recommendations, and facilitate transactions.
  • Visual Merchandising: Maintain visual standards, including merchandising and sales displays, to create an engaging and inviting store environment.
  • Sales and Service Training: Participate in REI Sales & Service Training and promote REI goods and services to customers.
  • Store Operations: Support store pick-up, including receiving and processing products, and follow REI loss prevention and safety procedures.
  • Flexibility: Work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous retail experience, preferably in an outdoor or sporting goods store.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to use business understanding, innovative thinking, and sound judgment to solve problems and make recommendations.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain a high level of productivity in a fast-paced environment.
