Pet Grooming Trainee

Are you passionate about providing top-notch care for our furry friends? As a Pet Grooming Trainee at PetSmart, you'll embark on a rewarding journey to become a skilled groomer. Our comprehensive training program will equip you with the knowledge and hands-on experience needed to excel in this role.

Stage 1: Bather

In this initial stage, you'll gain hands-on experience in our salon, learning about different dog breeds and styling techniques. You'll work closely with our experienced groomers to ensure the comfort and safety of our canine clients.

Stage 2: Grooming Academy

After gaining some experience, you'll attend our Grooming Academy, where you'll receive in-depth training on breed styling, dog care, and tool usage. As a bonus, you'll receive a free tool kit worth over $600 upon graduation.

Stage 3: Groomer Trainee

With your newfound skills and tool kit, you'll begin grooming all breeds and sizes of dogs under the guidance of experienced groomers. Our goal is to provide you with a diverse range of experiences to hone your skills.

Stage 4: Pet Stylist in Training

As you progress, you'll build relationships with your own clients, advise on styles, and suggest new services. You'll take pride in creating customized, stylish experiences for our furry friends.
