Job Description:

In accordance with state and federal regulations, assists the pharmacist in the practice of pharmacy, under direct supervision. Performs various tasks to support the pharmacy team, including processing prescriptions, managing inventory, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assists pharmacists in the performance of pharmacy duties, including prescription processing and inventory management.
  • Provides exceptional customer service, engaging with customers and patients to ensure a positive experience.
  • Reviews and complies with company policies and procedures, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Assists with exterior and interior maintenance, ensuring the pharmacy is stocked with adequate supplies and is clean, neat, and orderly.
  • Develops strong relationships with customers and healthcare providers, promoting Walgreens services and products.
  • Attends training and completes PPLs requested by Manager and acquires continuing education credits to maintain knowledge and skills in healthcare and pharmacy.
Requirements:
  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
  • Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
  • Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.
  • Prefer good math skills and computer skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • PTCB or ExCPT certification.
