The Plumbing Service Specialist plays a crucial role in offering expert assistance to homeowners facing plumbing and gas challenges. This position involves diagnosing issues, presenting solutions in a professional manner with detailed proposals, diagrams, and images, and executing repairs or installations.

Key Responsibilities

The Plumbing Service Specialist is expected to competently carry out the following tasks:

  • Utilize a snake to clear main and branch drain lines in residential and commercial properties.
  • Operate and tow a Jetter for unclogging sewer lines.
  • Possess the knowledge and experience to diagnose, repair, and/or replace various types of water heaters (Electric, Gas, and Tankless) in homes or businesses.
  • Install and repair plumbing fixtures (Kitchen faucets, Bathroom fixtures, and tub/shower fixtures).
  • Remove and replace toilets or repair their components.
  • Employ a sewer camera and locator to identify the causes of sewer line problems and accurately mark sewer lines.
  • Detect gas line leaks and perform necessary repairs while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Remove, replace, or repair existing gas lines and install new ones as required.
  • Remove, replace, or repair existing water lines and install new ones as needed.
  • Replace existing garbage disposals.
  • Use leak detection tools to identify leaks occurring beneath slabs and in the ground.
  • Be certified to conduct Back Flow Testing and ensure its operational effectiveness.
  • Diagnose issues and present solutions to homeowners in a professional manner, complete with written proposals, diagrams, and images.
  • Provide personal hand tools necessary for the job.
  • Operate a company vehicle monitored by GPS while maintaining safe driving practices.
  • Utilize ServiceTitan for documenting service calls, ensuring notes and images are included for all visits.
  • Participate in on-call and weekend shifts as part of a rotating schedule, typically consisting of a 5-day work week with 1-2 on-call days per month.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience in Residential Plumbing.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Familiarity with basic hand and plumbing tools.
  • Experience with home and commercial software and technology, particularly ServiceTitan.
  • Certification required for back flow testers.
