Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Procedures
    • Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
    • Position patients for optimal image quality and safety.
    • Adjust technical factors to ensure accurate and detailed images.
    • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses.
  • Patient Care
    • Provide excellent patient care and communication, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process.
    • Verify patient identity and medical history before each procedure.
    • Administer contrast media and other medications as required.
    • Monitor patients during procedures and respond to any adverse reactions.
  • Quality Control
    • Perform routine quality control checks on CT scanners to ensure optimal performance.
    • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
    • Collaborate with the radiology team to ensure accurate and timely image interpretation.
  • Operations
    • Restock supplies and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
    • Transport patients and assist with positioning for procedures.
    • Perform routine maintenance on CT scanners and other equipment.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
  • Experience
    • Minimum 1 year of experience in radiology, preferably in CT.
  • Certifications
    • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiography and Computed Tomography.
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
