We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Sports Medicine Specialist to join our team at ATI Physical Therapy. As an Athletic Training Professional, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive and coordinated care to athletes, while maintaining strong relationships with our affiliate partners.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical athletic training services, including hands-on care, triage, and written and verbal communication to integrate our sports medicine program into the affiliate.
- Work closely with the athletic director, coaches, physicians, and affiliate director to ensure strong relationships and the highest level of care for each athlete.
- Manage the relationship with the affiliate, maintaining a positive work atmosphere and communicating effectively to achieve positive outcomes.
- Participate in ATI foundation activities and showcase ATI spirit to athletes, coaches, and the community.
- Interact regularly with staff Physical Therapists and clinicians regarding the treatment of affiliated athletes in formal PT care.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to multitask and provide an exceptional experience for everyone.
- Mindset and determination to emotionally invest and achieve work goals.
- Knowledge of Athletic Training and continuing trends in the industry.
- Strong time management skills and attention to detail to document all reported injuries in appropriate records.
- Ability to travel between affiliates, events, and clinics, and work extra events as assigned.
- Successful completion of four academic years of pre-professional and professional study in a specialized curriculum accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education.
- Certification by the Board of Certification of the National Athletic Trainers Association Board of Certification and appropriate state licensure that is current and in good standing.
