Job Description

Job Title: Retail Banker I

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Banker I to join our team. As a Retail Banker I, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, building relationships, and providing financial expertise to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide financial expertise and consultative advice to customers to help them achieve their financial goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Identify opportunities to educate customers on bank products and services, and refer them to appropriate team members or internal bank partners.
  • Utilize customer relationship management tools to proactively play a key role in customer assessments and lead-focused outbound sales activities.
  • Make product recommendations based on customer needs and highlight product features and benefits that support customers through challenging times and life events.

Requirements:

  • HS Diploma or GED
  • 1+ years related experience required
  • Teller experience (Preferred)
  • Cross-trained to take customer transactions
  • Superior customer service skills
  • Strong organization skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to be concise, clear, and consistent
  • Demonstrated ability to schedule and prioritize work
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and within deadlines
  • Sound judgment in decision making and effective problem solving
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Notary License (Preferred)
