Position Summary

The Class A CDL Driver/Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for driving and operating various Class A CDL vehicles. This role involves safely transporting loaded trailers to designated locations while complying with all DOT regulations. The operator will also handle vacuum trucks, roll-off trucks, dump trucks, and tankers, demonstrating proficiency in the operations associated with each vehicle type. We welcome your CDL and safe driving history, and we will provide training on our specialized equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Adhere to all company, state, and federal safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Transport equipment to project sites and utilize appropriate tools for safe project execution.
  • Conduct daily vehicle inspections and maintain equipment in safe and clean condition; perform decontamination and refueling after project completion.
  • Work in various environments, including indoors and outdoors, under all weather conditions.
  • Complete detailed reports, manifests, work orders, and time sheets accurately and submit them promptly.
  • Maintain electronic logs in accordance with state and federal regulations.
  • Be available for weekend work and out-of-town assignments for extended periods (accommodations and daily per diem provided).
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) with one to three years of relevant experience or training; or a combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • Willingness to work at various customer locations and overtime as needed.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends, and travel out of town.
  • Excellent driving and safety record; a current driving abstract and proof of all certifications and licenses are required.
  • Must pass pre-employment DOT drug screening and participate in the company's drug and alcohol program, including random testing.
  • Demonstrate the ability to perform duties safely and effectively and pass a driving test.
Certifications and Licenses

Must possess a valid Class A CDL; HazMat, Doubles/Triples, and Tanker endorsements are advantageous.

Possession of a TWIC Card or the ability to obtain one is preferred.

Proof of all certifications and licenses is required.
