About the Job
We are seeking a highly skilled Biostatistician Researcher to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in statistics and biostatistics, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. This role involves providing operational research and basic science coordination, as well as general assistance in areas required to meet the stated Women's Health and Performance (WHP) research objectives.
Responsibilities
- Provide statistical analysis and data interpretation for various research studies.
- Design and document data management processes and develop data dictionaries as necessary.
- Coordinate and implement procedures to collect data from multiple data sources.
- Assist researchers and outside collaborators with data-related issues and statistical questions.
- Develop and maintain statistical software codes and provide training on products created as needed.
- Maintain professional relationships with team members, investigators, and external organizations.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A master's degree in statistics or biostatistics.
- At least five years of experience in combining, cleaning, and analyzing large multivariate datasets.
- Expertise in statistical modeling, experimental design, data analysis, and management.
- Knowledge of common statistical methods, including survival analysis, parametric and non-parametric methods, multiple and logistic regressions, structural equation modeling, hierarchical linear modeling, and psychometric methods.
- Experience with statistical analysis software such as SPSS, SAS, AMOS, R, Access, SQL Server, and/or STATA.
- Excellent communication and technical writing skills, including the ability to provide interpretation of results.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
