Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our team at Steward Health Care. As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing two-dimensional ultrasonic recordings of internal organs to aid in the diagnosis of disease and study of organ malfunctions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations to provide accurate diagnostic information
  • Participate in Performance Improvement activities to enhance patient care and outcomes
  • Provide exceptional patient care and service to patients of all ages, from neonates to geriatrics
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest ultrasound technology and techniques
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Two years of experience in radiologic/imaging, with a focus on ultrasound
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
  • Current Texas Medical Board (TMB) license (for ARRT-certified professionals)
  • Knowledge of general anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
