Custodial Worker

This position is located at the Eagle's Nest Lodging on Youngstown Air Reserve Base, Ohio. The position is a flexible position, which means you are not guaranteed hours or benefits but could work anywhere between 0 and 40 hours per week. Flex employees will be eligible for the use of the fitness center, lodging, and other activities. Position requires working irregular schedules, to include weekends, holidays, and all shifts.
Responsibilities
The Custodial Worker will be responsible for cleaning lodging guest rooms, corridors, stairways, facilities, and other assigned lodging areas. This includes sweeping, dry mopping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing floors using brooms, mops, lightweight vacuum cleaners, and lightweight floor scrubbers and buffers. The Custodial Worker will also dust, wax, and polish furniture, clean and sanitize guest room appliances, cooking utensils, and dishes, empty wastebaskets, polish door knobs and other metal fixtures, wash walls, windows, and blinds that can be reached unassisted or using stepping stools, make beds and change linen, collect soiled linen and place it at a pickup point, receive clean linen and deliver it where directed, clean, disinfect, and deodorize lavatories, urinals, and toilet bowls, clean mirrors, sinks, and water fountains, restock toilet tissue, hand towels, soap, and other complimentary sundry items, and note the condition of facilities and report to the supervisor any broken windows, water leaks, clogged drains, and other conditions requiring maintenance.
Requirements
This position requires the incumbent to complete a background investigation with favorable results. The Custodial Worker must be able to work irregular schedules, including weekends, holidays, and all shifts. The position also requires the ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects, and to work in a fast-paced environment.
