Job Summary: As a Member Assistant - Cart Attendant at Sam's Club, you will play a critical role in ensuring a positive shopping experience for our members. You will be responsible for maintaining a well-kept parking lot, helping members with their purchases, and ensuring there are carts ready and available. Additionally, you will assist with club pick up orders, helping members load their vehicles and supporting the creation of a great member experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • • Maintain a positive attitude by smiling, greeting, and thanking members to create a welcoming environment.
  • • Provide exceptional customer service to members across the club as needed, answering any questions they may have.
  • • Maintain a clean, neat, and member-ready area by adhering to company standards.
  • • Ensure club pick up orders are filled by contacting members to notify when pickup time is delayed; informing members when products are unavailable; offering members alternative product options when needed; ensuring products are selected and packaged according to company policies and procedures; ensuring items are dispensed when members arrive for pickup; resolving member issues and concerns; and promoting the company's products and services.
  • • Maintain safety of facility according to company policies and procedures by conducting safety sweeps; following procedures for handling merchandise; and correcting and reporting unsafe situations to facility management.
  • • Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; using the Open Door Policy; and applying these in executing business processes and practices.
  • • Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborating with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners; identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carrying out tasks; communicating progress and information; determining and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities; and adapting to and learning from change, difficulties, and feedback.
