About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stores Clerk to join our team at Sekisui Aerospace. As a Stores Clerk, you will play a critical role in receiving, storing, and distributing materials, equipment, and products to support our manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret production schedules, customer orders, and work orders to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
  • Fills and/or creates requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distribute items to production workers or assembly lines.
  • Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequences, such as size, type, style, and color or product code.
  • Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves, or conveys orders to packing stations or shipping departments.
  • Maintains inventory records, records amounts of materials or items received or distributed, and keeps database systems up-to-date in real-time.
Requirements
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a diverse workforce.
  • Ability to comprehend and follow specifications and procedures.
  • Proficient mathematical skills.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Familiarity with cycle counting programs.
  • Organizing and coordinating skills.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems.
Working Conditions
  • Typically work indoors, with occasional exposure to outdoor environments.
  • Exposure to loud sounds and distracting noise levels.
  • Exposure to hazardous equipment.
  • Exposure to contaminants.
  • Shared workspaces with other employees.
  • Requires handling objects of up to 50 pounds.
  • Lifting, pushing, pulling, and bending.
  • Standing and/or walking for 8 to 12 or more hours per day.
