Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Systems Technician to join our team at Cornerstone Detention Products. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and installing integrated security mechanical and electronic systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, test, and maintain CCTV equipment, analog and digital IP-based systems, intercom/audio systems, electronic locking systems, card access control equipment, and relay logic and PLC-based control systems.
  • Repair and maintain mechanical locking devices, panic hardware, and detention hardware.
  • Perform physical labor, including installation of security electronics and networking equipment, and perform jobsite housekeeping.
  • Follow written and verbal instructions from immediate supervisors and customers without constant supervision.
  • Adhere to company policies and guidelines, and safeguard all tools and company equipment in their care.
  • Report unsafe acts or conditions on a jobsite immediately, and follow all safety procedures as set forth by general contractors or OSHA.

Requirements:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent; Associate's degree in construction or electronics technology preferred.
  • Licensing/Registration/Certification: Local certifications as required by work area; must pass criminal background checks.
  • Experience: 1 or more years in the installation of low voltage communication systems or security and/or detention equipment.

Additional Requirements:

  • On-call rotation requirement.
